New Products:: FrSky 2.4g system
Latest update : Phlatkits remains the official and only NZ distributor for FrSky products.

KiwiRC is at this point in time the only official reseller appointed by us.

set_audio on Trademe is not an official reseller and he has not entered into an reseller agreement with us, and will not have access to further product from FrSky.

If anyone has issues with the products purchased through set_audio we will still support them, as we do any FrSky product that has been purchased overseas.

If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me directly.

New Products:: FrSky Futaba FASST compatible rx's - whos intersted
The one that HK sells which I ordered a few to see what they are like will be about $70. HK offers these at really next to nothing and I know the markup they are putting on it. I am thinking of flogging those few at cost as I am not going to be able to compete on that. She NZ RSM labeling requirements will already push me over the markup that HK is putting on.

The higher spec one which HK does not have access to is about $75. May go up or down as I am trying to order a larger quantity a bit later to spread the shipping better.

Difference between them is latency.

HK version is apparently a 14ms latency while the higher speced on is 7ms. Not that I would feel that difference.

Still better than the standard Futaba rx prices however FrSky is still cheaper.

New Products:: Expanded range of Scorpion
Watts Up Hobbies are now the official Distributer for Scorpion in NZ and as a result we have a rapidly expanding range of Scorpion motors & ESC's. The first new shipment has arrived with another just around the corner to fill out the range.

Brushless Motors
Controllers

Heather Mardon
Watts Up Hobbies
www.wattsup.co.nz

ahh, I put metal gear servos in my fly from the get-go.

I flew 5 times on sunday, guess which was first ?

Superfly, then LTG20, then LTG48, then the Demon37 (had to build up to it ) and finally the Yak55 to get the left thumb working

New Products:: SLOWBIPE
Thanks Matt, I might as well get the whole bundle. I would hate to find that none of my motors had sufficient slowness, and I wound up with a magnetically challenged, self-dismantling, variable geometry pylon racing wannabe.
I imagine that puts it in the ballpark of $200 or a bit more with freight to Jafa land?
