I've been threatening to organise a Kiwi ProBro event for several years now but it's been hard to find enough people interested in flyin 3D... perhaps until now...

Can I have a show of hands to see how many of those who frequent these forums would be interested in a weekend of fun and mayhem flying 3D (electric, glow and petrol -- fixed wing and rotary) here in Tokoroa?

It would be nice to have a profile-only weekend but I figure that we'd probably only get a half-dozen people turn up so by widening the bases to include helis and fatties, electric glow and petrol, I'm hoping we might get enough interest to make it a real kick-ass event.

This would not be an event for CJs or prissy girl-types. It's for those who want to have *fun* without the handicaps of political correctness and having to fly circuits.

I'd see if I can rake up some sponsors for some prizes too.

Any starters?

I'm not really into 3D, I like to actually "fly" planes, now F3A that would be a different story. Each to his own I guess.

Hey, there's plenty of time to learn before the good weather comes around. Get on the simulator and have a go.

Get a little foamie and try it for real!

Maybe a LeadFeather Yak in ProBro colours eh? eh? eh?

How about 3D and speed event!

Id like to get a radar gun pointed at the little pink missile

The only thing I have that can fly 3D (well sorta) is the Superfly.

I've got Phoenix, a Hyperion Sniper, and other stuff that should at least help. Maybe one day my brain and thumbs will all get along

I am keen with the Yak. Might upgrade to the 9mm for the occasion so it does not flap so much.
