That pitts looks fimilar. Although it looks like you don't have the engine cowl on it? Or is that a different cowl.

Anyway ordered me a wood prop for mine.

hi Kiwiflyer I have been toying with a purchase of a Corsair PNP give me your honest opinion and is yours still stock Cheers

HI cpk,

I have to admit to being biased about the Corsair as she was the plane that got me truly addicted to flying. It is a great scale plane to fly, the gull wing looks awesome flying around the park. The stock motor is a little underpowered with the supplied battery from parkzone (but then what motor isnt with their batteries), however upon using some 3S 2250's from a mate the difference in performance was incredibly better. She has wonderful handling characteristics at both slowflying and topend as well but you can slow her right down and almost drift around the park at low level and still feel like you have complete control with very little risk of stalling. My only gripe is that I found the undercarrige to be weak and as it is located and supported in the foam wing if you have a rough landing you can tear chunks of foam out of your wing. However having said that, I made up some bracing struts that attach to a flat plate and ball joint which support the undercarrige leg really well and havent had any further probs with them.

I have flown a trojan as well and I think Jackos right when he says the trojan is the better plane performance wise, but if you want slightly less performance and great looks then the Corsair rules the skys. I have not regretted buying her at all.

Correct, I've not quite finished getting it in flight ready condition yet. Waiting for a receiver to come in the mail apart from anything else, then all I need to do is set up the servos, etc, and it's ready for maiden.

How are you finding the servos in yours? They holding up OK?

The servo's are holding up fine. What I do recommend is swapping that prop adapter. The stupid screws keep slipping free the moment she noses over. I have had a few takeoffs where I have had to abort and make an emergency landing because the prop decides to come loose under full power.

The other thing I have done is reinforced the control horns on the elevator and rudder they pull loose quite easily. Just a bit of epoxy will do the job. Other than that she flies great. Just waiting for some nice weather so I can really start learning to throw her around.
