Right the EPP is here and I have done a test cut. I am very happy with it so the phlatprinter is going to start churning these puppies out tomorrow.

Yippee..

Glad you got into the EPP Rob - I wouldn't have got a depron model because of the easy break issue but you might get me into one of these. I'm going to have a play with laminating film over EPP next week, which might be a super cheap and effective way of beefing these models up.

They are in to much of a rush... If you slow the phlatty down and let it slice through the EPP it does not twist. Run it to fast and well the EPP twists and distorts.

I have been cutting the depron at 17ipm while the EPP I dropped to 7ipm. I would rather take longer to cut it and have it accurate than rush it and waste the foam.

It took a hard smash to break my Infineon. Bit of hot glue and she was fine again.

The indoor stuff is so light that it really takes a beating.

However there will be a few EPP kits avalable after this weekend all going well.

Right the first one is off the printer. Next up the Mario kart.

Then tonight it is building time.

Man this thing is fun... I did a crash test on it last night and early this morning. Basically flying it into stuff while trying to hover in my front garden.

So far it has hit the steel pole of the trampoline mid wing at full throttle... I have landed on top of the tree. Powered it through a tree. Nosed it in at full speed. Cartwheeled it flown it into the fence multiple times.

Best thing is not one bit of damage. She just folds bends and pops right back out.

I can honestly say I crashed more today than I have in my last two years flying and I am proud of it.

Indoor is going to be fun.
