RCMR : The DLE20 weighs about the same as a Saito 125 -- so its nice and light -- not like those HK 26cc engines
RCMR : Its also got a rear reed-valve induction so its got good power. Those side-port gasers are crap
RCMR : Well Im off to hit the hay. Nite nite!

Question!

I was asked the other day why the prop slot is square cut. I had no answer!

Anyone know why?

I did wonder when I was building it whether or not I should shape the edges. In the end I just smoothed the edge with some sand-paper.

Umm - square = easy = fast build

Mine is rounded (viewed from top) jackos the edges are beveled.

Square is best for making that annoying rite-wing style noise

Love the superfly = build it your way !

Nice work man! Get it up nice and high, hold full up and left elevon, and full left rudder, full throttle Gets into an awesome flatspin that recovers when you neutralise the sticks.

nice work glen.

Almost missed this post, now that the vendor threads dont end up on the left hand side links

I practised straight up, then straight down, full aileron drill bit, and pull back on elevator 12ft or so from deck
