T4RC : nop
RCMR : The DLE20 weighs about the same as a Saito 125 -- so its nice and light -- not like those HK 26cc engines
RCMR : Its also got a rear reed-valve induction so its got good power. Those side-port gasers are crap
RCMR : Well Im off to hit the hay. Nite nite!
SargeNZ : evening jacko

There is nothing wrong with 5x5 props,I use one on a small wing I made up,emax 2805 motor,18amp esc and 1300mah 3s,it puts out around 430 grams of thrust, have also used 6x4e apc prop with this set up.

Statically at least the 5x5 APCe prop sucks in terms of Thrust/Watts, its not far off a 4.75x4.75e thrust wise which is far less load (takes less watts to turn). In flight Ive used them a few times and wasnt impressed. Aparently at 190mph+ a 5x5 APCe starts to make sense. Ive never tried one but aparently a 5x5 EMP/TGS prop is much better. Search rcgroups for more info, theres a few threads running around dedicated to the 5x5 APCe sucking

No I havent sorry man, Theyre the same as ones HK stock, Ive had a yarn to CK (Mr. Ritewing) about them before, and he mentioned the melt when you look at em sideways, Probably OK up too a point though. ie a good motor can be pressed hard and still remain efficient, whereas a bad one cant and simply makes lotsa heat and melts itself.

Maybe you will have to balance it,
EMAX 2812 motor 20a esc 3s 1300mah battery
Prop gws 6030 x 3 blade =9.5amps 439 grams thrust
Prop apc 6x5.5 2 =13.5amps 440 grams thrust
Prop apc 5.1x4.5e =13 amps 368 grams thrust

On my f22 i used a 8x4 apc e prop cut down to 7 inch dia.
